HWR/HWR-Q

Applications:

The HWR/HWR-Q model is for hot water heated buildings. The HWR/HWR-Q will start and stop the boiler, or modulate a motorized valve, to vary the system water temperature into a building's radiation in accordance with changes in outside temperature. The colder it is outside, the hotter the water which will circulate through the building. The HWR/HWR-Q can be upgraded for remote communications allowing the HWR/HWR-Q to be monitored and adjusted from any computer with a modem.

Features:

  • Adjustable outdoor temperature cutoff
  • Adjustable reset ratios and offset
  • 8 separate Day/Night adjustments for each day of the week
  • Multiple setback schedules
  • Optimum variable boost (Morning warm-up)
  • Adjustable minimum water temperature
  • Battery backup of program
  • Solid state circuitry
  • LED digital displays
  • Self diagnostics
  • Remote communication option (field upgradeable)
  • Johnson Metasys® compatible
  • Locking NEMA-1 enclosure
  • Solid state sensors can be extended up to 500' from the control
  • Accuracy of ±1ºF or 1% of full scale

Multi-Mod

Applications:

The Multi-Mod smoothly controls multiple stages of full modulation burners. It's patented design and computer logic allows the system to bring on just the amount of modulation necessary to hold the desired set point. The Multi-Mod can control either temperature or pressure systems, and can be field configured for heating or cooling applications. The Multi-Mod can be upgraded for remote communications allowing it  to be monitored and adjusted from any computer with a modem.

Features:

  • Only one sensor is required (regardless of the number of stages being controlled)
  • Digital display of: System temperature or pressure, system set point, control parameters
  • LED display of percent modulation of each stage
  • Manual overrides for each stage
  • Automatic or manual lead stage rotation
  • Can be cascaded to provide as many stages as needed
  • Plug-in relays
  • RWB mod motor output and N.O. contacts for each stage
  • Remote communication option (field upgradeable)
  • Johnson Metasys® compatible
  • Can be field configured for heating or cooling
  • Can be field configured for setback (from external clock, temperature sensor, aquastat, etc.)
  • Temperature Multi-Mods can be configured to input a 4-20mA signal from an EMS system
  • Locking NEMA-1 enclosure
  • Solid state sensors can be extended up to 500' from the control
  • Accuracy of ±1ºF or 1% of full scale

Mini-Mod

The Mini-Mod is the perfect control whenever multiply fully modulating stages are required for Hydronic heating applications.  The Mini-Mod controls the on/off and the modulation of each stage (up to 4) to maintain precise set point control using PID type control logic.

Features:

  • Only one sensor is required (regardless of the number of stages being controlled)
  • Digital display of: System temperature, system set point, control parameters
  • The option of using outdoor reset, set point, or receive and external set point from an EMS/BMS system as 4-20mA (requires use of 4-20mA EMS interface)
  • Display of percent modulation of each stage
  • Manual overrides for each stage
  • Automatic or manual lead stage rotation
  • Can be cascaded to provide as many stages as needed using up to two Mini-Extensions Panels (each can control up to 6 boilers) up to a total of 16 boilers
  • RWB mod motor output (0-5V, 0-10V, 1-5V, 2-10V & 4-20mA) and N.O. contacts for each stage
  • Can be field configured for setback (from external clock, temperature sensor, aquastat, etc.)
  • Domestic Hot Water capability with optional priority
  • Locking NEMA-1 enclosure
  • Solid state sensors can be extended up to 500' from the control
  • Accuracy of ±1ºF or 1% of full scale
