Pulse Hydronic Boilers

Fulton PulsePak gas fired pulse combustion boilers are available in sizes ranging from 300,000 to 2,000,000 BTUH.  A PulsePak boiler operates with a standard efficiency of approximately 84-90%.  For optimum performance Fulton's PulsePak can be ordered with modulation which results in efficiencies of up to 98%.  Fulton Model PHW-1400 and PHW-2000 are supplied with modulation as standard equipment.  Fulton Pulse boilers utilize state-of-the-art technology to achieve full modulation.  The result is a boiler that offers 5:1 turndown for precise load matching capability.  Sound deadening features bring the dBA to less than 72 on all Pulse boilers - quieter than most other HVAC equipment.

Benefits with Pulse

  • Standby losses are nearly zero.

  • Small footprint allows installation in multiple buildings or in isolated areas of large plants.

  • Fit through standard door openings.

  • No power burner combined with the pulse design, results in the lowest maintenance requirements in the industry.

  • No primary/secondary loop required to maintain minimum return water temperature.

  • Pulse combustion produces inherently lower NOx levels than conventional boilers.

  • No minimum or maximum flow requirements.

Vertical Tubeless Hot Water (4-60 HP)

Add efficiency, economy, and safety to your industrial or commercial hot water processes with reliable Fulton top-fired, vertical tubeless hot water boilers. Available from 4 to 100 HP and 60 or 160 PSI MAWP. Fulton boilers have no tubes or coils, eliminating the problem of tube failure and providing efficient, safe, and reliable service.
As Fulton's power burner spins the flame down the length of the furnace, water is induced to spin upward in the water vessel, reducing the possibility of stratification. Hot gases from the flame are carried upward around the pressure vessel through a secondary flue passage area across the full-length convection fins that transmit heat to the water from the outside. Interaction of the spinning flame and the spiraling water insures overall maximum heat transfer efficiency.

Vertical Tubeless Steam (4-60 HP)

For over 50 years, Fulton boilers, with the original vertical tubeless down fired design, have remained a compact trouble-free boiler supplying steam and hot water to virtually every type of industry imaginable.

Built and stamped to the ASME Code, Fulton 4-60 HP vertical tubeless steam boilers are CSA Approved, UL Approved packaged boilers, and are manufactured to CSD-1 Code, with state of the art microprocessor burner controls.

Standard Fulton vertical tubeless steam boilers offer 80%+ efficiency, while a higher efficiency model is available in 10, 15, 20, 30, 50, and 60 HP.

Fulton standard vertical tubeless boilers can be ordered with combination oil and gas capabilities or be converted at any time simply and economically. Higher efficiency ICX models are available with gas fired burners only. All Fulton boilers are completely trimmed packaged boilers. No additional fuel train items or electrical wiring is needed.

Fulton's ICX boiler's stack temperatures can be from 100 to 150F below other two pass designs and have cut fuel bills in half!

Electric Steam Boilers

Fulton manufactures a complete line of electric steam boilers from 12kW to 1000 kW (1.2 to 100 BHP) up to 300 PSI for heating and process applications. Fulton's vertical design is a full packaged steam boiler built to ASME specifications and applicable standards and codes. Fulton Electric Steam boilers are extremely efficient because the heating elements are totally immersed in water and the pressure vessel is fully insulated. Radiation losses are minimal. With a carefully calculated heat to steam ratio, operating pressures are achieved quickly with maximum efficiency. Electric boilers have no wasted fuel going out the stack as associated with fossil fuels, therefore, electric boilers are environmentally friendly. No NOx (nitrogen oxides) are being transmitted to the atmosphere.

Thermal Fluid Heater

Fulton's coil design thermal fluid heaters eliminate deficiencies of steam, high temperature hot water, and direct firing.
Fulton's time proven heater is a compact unit even up to its 12,000,000 BTU/HR. size. High efficiencies, rapid processing, and tight temperature control tolerances are associated with these heaters-plus or minus 2 degrees F.

While still utilized in applications today, direct firing is a very crude and wasteful process. Heating is uneven; temperature is difficult to control; and the processing of combustible materials can be hazardous.

Fulton's four pass coil design heater features efficient overall even heating and low thermal inertia. Combustion air enters the bottom mounted burner fan inlet, passes upward between the inner and outer jacket and is pre-heated before it enters the top mounted burner. The hot gases are directed through four passes across the heating coils and exit at the flue outlet.

This principle dispenses with the need for large quantities of refractory insulating materials, resulting in extremely low thermal inertia, preventing overheating of the fluid in the event of pump or power failure.

For any process application, consider Fulton's coil design thermal fluid heater available from 800,000 to 12,000,00 BTU/Hr. with operating temperatures up to 750 degrees F. Low emission burners are available as an option.
